This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and describes how cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes are handled for Starlo subscriptions and purchases.

Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

All subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. The renewal period matches the initial subscription term unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase. To avoid renewal, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

By proceeding with a subscription, you acknowledge that charges will be applied periodically based on the selected billing cycle. The renewal rate will be no more than the rate for the immediately prior subscription period, excluding any promotional (introductory) and discount pricing, unless we notify you of a rate change prior to your auto-renewal.

Cancellation must be completed through your account settings at starlo.app/manage. If you cancel, your access to the paid features of the Service will remain active until the end of the then-current subscription period, after which it will be disabled; however, you will retain access to all free features of the Service.

Free Trials and Promotional Offers

We may offer a free trial or introductory offer subscription according to the terms specified when you sign up. A free trial provides you access to the Service for a period of time; an introductory offer provides access at a reduced rate for a limited period. Unless you cancel before the end of the free trial or introductory offer, your access to the Service will automatically continue and you will be billed the applicable fees. It is your responsibility to know when the free trial or introductory offer will end.

We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to modify or terminate any free trial or introductory offer without notice and with no liability. We reserve the right to limit your ability to take advantage of multiple free trials and/or introductory offers.

Refunds

Unless otherwise specified under the Money-Back Policy or required by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable.

Refunds, when applicable, are not processed in real-time. If we confirm that a refund has been issued, please allow at least 15 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. You acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive multiple refunds for the same transaction and agree that if you request a refund directly from us, you will not initiate a separate refund request or chargeback through your payment provider unless your request has been denied by us. If you receive duplicate refunds due to separate refund requests, we reserve the right to work with your payment provider to reverse one of those refunds.

1. General Refund Rules

To the extent permitted by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable and/or non-exchangeable, unless otherwise stated herein or required by applicable law.

Note for residents of EEA member states and the United Kingdom:

If you are a resident of an EEA member state or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a service agreement and an agreement for digital goods, without charge and without giving any reason, within fourteen (14) days from the date of the conclusion of such agreement. For the purposes of this withdrawal right, the agreement is deemed concluded on the date of your first purchase or activation of a free trial within the Services, whichever occurs earlier. The Withdrawal Period applies to all subsequent purchases made through the Services during that period. Any purchases made after the expiration of the Withdrawal Period are not subject to the right of withdrawal on this basis.

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you have been presented with, and you have provided your prior express consent to begin the performance during the right of withdrawal period and acknowledgment that you will lose your right of withdrawal, then, unless the Service is defective, you will not be eligible for a refund in relation to digital content and will only be eligible to a proportional refund in relation to digital service. If this provision applies, we will provide you with a copy of the confirmation of your prior express consent and acknowledgment on a durable medium.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us — Starlo, 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, DE 19901; email: support@starlo.org — of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear, unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or e-mail). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

If you are a resident of Brazil, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement for the purchase of digital content and services without charge and without providing any reason within seven (7) days from the date of the conclusion of such agreement. For the purposes of this withdrawal right, the agreement is deemed concluded on the date of your first purchase or activation of a free trial within the Services, whichever occurs earlier. The withdrawal period applies to all subsequent purchases made through the Services during that period. Any purchases made after the expiration of the withdrawal period are not subject to the right of withdrawal on this basis.

2. Money-Back Guarantee

In addition to refund rights available under applicable laws, if you made a purchase directly on our website and the money-back option was presented to you at checkout, you are eligible to receive a refund if you contact us via support@starlo.org or call or text us at (408) 676-8501 within thirty (30) days of your initial purchase and before the end of your subscription period, and provide evidence that, within the first thirty (30) days after purchase, you completed at least seven (7) consecutive days of engagement by either (i) following the plan provided, or (ii) if no plan is available, engaging with the provided guidance or insights and completing daily reflections and actions based on them.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you wish to request a refund for a payment made using a reimbursable method, such as a credit or debit card, we strongly encourage you to contact us first at support@starlo.org or call or text us at (408) 676-8501 before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. This allows us the opportunity to review your request and attempt to resolve the issue directly.

If a cardholder dispute is withdrawn or dropped, we will, in good faith, refund the disputed transaction and cancel the associated subscription to prevent any further billing.

Initiating a chargeback or reversing a payment through your bank or payment provider may result in the immediate termination of your account at our sole discretion, as it indicates that you have determined you no longer wish to use our Service. If a chargeback is overturned in our favor, you may contact us to discuss reinstating your account.

As outlined in our Privacy Policy  ·  Money-Back Policy, your personally identifiable information may be shared with our payment processor to assist in responding to chargeback requests.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may submit payment records, service-access logs, account activity, and checkout policy disclosures as evidence that the purchased digital service was delivered.

Changes to Subscription Fees

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we may modify subscription fees at any time. If notification is required under applicable law, we will inform you of pricing changes in the manner and timeframe mandated by regulations. Where no specific timeframe is prescribed, we will provide notice by posting the updated prices on our website, sending an email notification, or using other prominent communication methods. The revised pricing will take effect as specified in the notice. If you do not agree to the updated fees, you may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect.

Failure to Pay and Service Termination

If a payment is declined or not received when due, we may notify you to update your payment method. However, if the issue is not resolved, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service without further notice. Any content, data, or personalized settings associated with your account may be lost, and we are not responsible for restoring them.
